Oh, Victory In Jesus!

"Oh Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever," Ey, can you hear it in the air my friends? Tis the song of the day being sung from Canada! Yes, indeed there is victory in His Holy name this morning with our sister Joy!
SHE IS GOING HOME!
BASICALLY MED FREE!
As I think back to all the blessings this week has held, I stand in awe of even the smallest details not left to chance. Joy and I just hung up and  to say she was giddy would about sum up her state of emotions.

She is leaving the hospital about 11:00 and will be home for lunch. Prayers for her journey home would be:
*safety
*pain control
*getting into the house safely due to steps

Thank you to those who have been here for Joy this week. May each of you continue to pray with her during her journey of recovery.
God Bless,
Diane "Hope"

My precious friend you forgot to mention a very important detail. Lunch! I called my son at 7:30am and told him to pull the homemade Brunswick stew out of the freezer and under the Chef's direction, place it in the crock pot so we would arrive home to the meal I've been anticipating since Christmas.

When Diane visited with us over the holiday season she stocked my freezer with many goodies. Much of that has been enjoyed over the past 4 months, but I was saving her stew for my homecoming. Today it will be the meal of celebration. The only thing missing will be sitting beside her to enjoy it, but hopefully that will be happening soon.

I can't wait to get home and update you all. I cannot thank you enough for all your love and prayers. Consider yourselves hugged.
Love you,
Joy

Joy, hopefully as I type this you're sitting down to that wonderful stew and enjoying every morsel. If I know you, you might even have Diane 'visiting' via Skype while you do so.

Celebrating your homecoming and loving you from up the street. If you need anything just call and I'm another pair of hands and legs that's happy to help out in any way I can!

Love you. Welcome home!!!

Yippee, so glad you're home and able to curl up in your own bed. Love that feeling, so enjoy. The stew sounds delicous! Extra special because Diane made it ~ Diane, Joy told me how talented a chef you are...What a blessing that you were able to visit right before the surgery and stop up Joy's freezer with your delicacies. What a gift you have. We all receive one blessing after blessing, don't you think. Praying and thanking God for the way he has and is standing by you all and the angels that were so close by...Thank you for all the updates Diane and to you Joy (I don't know how you did it) for being the beacon of light and strength throughout - WOW! YOU ARE UNBELIEVABLE! lOvE aNd PrAyErS ~ Patricia

I've been away from my computer all day but I've been singing praises and sending praises to Jesus thanking Him for His amazing, indescribable provision and mercy.

So, so, so glad you are home with your family and already enjoying some yummy stew. Take it easy sweet friend and please let Gord, Christopher and your family/friends take care of you. We want you to be rested and strong for the journey of healing ahead.

Love you so!
Renee

Joy,
I am so glad you went home. There is no place like home, like your own bed and your favorite meal.
God is so good!
